The orientation program on NAAC was conducted on 1st December 2023 by SAARC MASTS TECH Pvt. ltd. The full-day workshop focused on the key parameters to be worked upon and drawing timelines and milestones for submitting SSR by December 2024. The One-day program started with the inaugural session by the principal and the administrator. In the morning session, which started at 10.00 am,Dr. Thankarasu discussed the seven criteria in brief and the important documents we have to maintain while preparing for the SSR. He also said the importance of NAAC certification for the overall development of the college. The afternoon session started at 1.30, followed by the explanation of the Program Outcome, Course outcome, and the importance of skill development among students. He also encouraged the teachers to follow Bloom’s Taxonomy. Create Evaluate Analyse Apply Understand Remember. Specific learning outcomes can be derived from the taxonomy though it is most commonly used to assess learning on a variety of cognitive levels. The workshop ended with the question-answer session at 4.00 pm. It was an opening for the journey towards NAAC.
