About Department
The Department of Psychology, newly established in the academic year 2024-25, offers a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology. This programme is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in psychological theories, research methodologies, and practical applications. Through a blend of coursework, hands-on experience, and interactive learning, students are equipped with the skills needed to understand human behavior, mental processes, and the impact of psychology in various fields. This program aims to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deeper appreciation of the complexities of the human mind.
Activities
The students are encouraged to participate in different programs and competitions in and outside the campus conducted by different departments of various colleges.
Objectives
Anticipated to be proficient in psychological theories and its applications with professional ethics to everyday life situations. Engross the research aptitude within the multidisciplinary milieu. Can be able to support the institutional members to their individual and career development through the counselling like undertakings.
